Terms of Service

DermPath For APC LLC Ā· Last updated: October 20, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to dermpathforapc.com and to every course, download, newsletter and other material offered by DermPath For APC LLC ("DermPath for APC", "we", "us"). By creating an account, buying a course or using the site, you agree to these Terms, our Educational Disclaimer and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or courses.

1. Who the courses are for

Our courses are designed for licensed healthcare professionals and healthcare students. You must be at least 18 to buy a course or create an account. You're responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for everything done under your account.

2. Educational use only

All content is for professional education only. It is not medical advice, is not a substitute for your own clinical judgment, and does not create a physician–patient or consulting relationship with you or your patients. Diagnosis and treatment decisions remain your responsibility and should follow current guidelines, your scope of practice and, where appropriate, consultation with a dermatopathologist or other specialist. See the Educational Disclaimer for more.

3. Your course license

  • When you buy a course, you get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to view it for your own education for the access period stated on the course's sales page (for Dermatopathology Fundamentals, 6 months from enrollment).
  • One purchase is for one person. You may not share your login or let anyone else use your account. Practices and teams can ask about group pricing at [email protected].
  • We may update, reorganize or replace course content to keep it accurate and current.

4. Content ownership and permitted use

All course content, including videos, histology and clinical images, slides, cases, quizzes, The Dermpath Companion and other downloads, newsletters and site text, is owned by DermPath for APC or used under license or permission from its owners, and is protected by copyright and other laws.

You may view the content and print downloadable guides for your own personal study. Unless we give you written permission, you may not:

  • copy, download, screen-record, screenshot, photograph or otherwise reproduce videos or images
  • share, post, sell, sublicense or distribute any content, including on social media, websites, shared drives or group chats
  • use any content, including images, in your own lectures, presentations, publications, courses or teaching materials
  • use any content to train, fine-tune or prompt artificial intelligence or machine-learning tools
  • remove or alter copyright notices, image credits or watermarks

Some images are provided by colleagues or other sources and remain their property; credits are given where required. If you'd like to use any content beyond personal study, email us first.

5. Copyright concerns

We respect others' intellectual property. If you believe any material on this site infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with: a description of the work, where it appears on the site, your contact details, and a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized and that your notice is accurate. We'll review it promptly and remove or correct material where appropriate.

6. Continuing education credit

Where a course offers CME/CE credit, the credit is provided by our accredited joint provider, not by DermPath for APC. To receive a certificate, you must complete the course requirements, including any assessments and evaluation, within the stated access and activity period. You should claim only the credit commensurate with your participation. It is your responsibility to confirm that the credit meets the requirements of your licensing board, certifying body or employer; we can't guarantee acceptance by any particular organization.

7. Prices, payment and refunds

  • Prices are in US dollars and are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Kajabi and its payment processors. You're responsible for any taxes that apply.
  • Promotional and discounted prices apply only as stated and can't be combined unless we say so.
  • Refunds: you can request a full refund within 30 days of purchase if you've viewed 20% or less of the course. Email [email protected]. Course access and any credit eligibility end when a refund is issued. Certificates already issued are not refundable.
  • Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank; we're happy to help. Accounts with a chargeback may be suspended while it's resolved.

8. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the site: no attempts to access other accounts or restricted areas, scrape or bulk-download content, interfere with the site's operation, or post unlawful, abusive or misleading material. Never share identifiable patient information (including images) with us through comments, email or any other channel.

9. Feedback and testimonials

If you send us feedback, survey answers or comments, we may use them to improve our courses. We'll only publish a testimonial with your name or credentials if you've agreed to that.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access, without a refund, if you break these Terms, including by sharing your account or redistributing content. You can stop using the site at any time. Sections 4, 5, 11, 12, 13 and 14 continue to apply after your access ends.

11. No warranties

We work hard to keep content accurate and current, but medicine changes and errors can occur. The site and all content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any course will lead to a particular clinical, exam or career result.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DermPath for APC and its owner, faculty and contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from clinical decisions or patient care, arising out of or related to your use of the site or content. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the course or product involved in the 12 months before the claim.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DermPath for APC and its owner, faculty and contributors from claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the content, your breach of these Terms, or your clinical practice.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing any claim, both parties agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by email for at least 30 days.

15. Other terms

  • Third-party services: the site runs on Kajabi and links to third-party sites and tools we don't control. Their own terms apply to them.
  • Changes: we may update these Terms and will change the date above when we do. Changes apply from that date; continuing to use the site means you accept them.
  • If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. Our not enforcing a term isn't a waiver. These Terms, the Educational Disclaimer and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the site and courses.
